Fruity Friends

CHANGE IN VENUE: Due to weather, we were able to get a last minute space at St James Community Square. This was an old church but is now a community space. With the understanding religious spaces can be uncomfortable for some in the queer community, none of the spaces we will be using have any religious reference or iconography.

Accessibility notes: There are four stairs to the room we will be using, and three doors. The narrowest doorframe is 1.07m. While we strive to always find spaces that are accessible to all, the last minute weather change left us scrambling for what ever we could find! If you have any concerns, please reach out.

 

 

Meet other Vancouver Queers in a pressure free environment. Feeling awkward or shy? You won't have time for either with speed-friending! Come enjoy the sunshine and make new friends!

2.30pm Park Hang and Crafts (unstructured meet and chat)

RSVP to reserve a spot for speed-friending. If you are unable to attend please let us know so we can offer your spot to another.

You do not have to sign up for speed friending to join us at 2.30. All furry friends are welcome!

Bring a craft! Are you working in a crochet project? Making monsters out of tissue boxes? Bring it! There will be a giant colouring sheet and some postcards to decorate for those who don't have anything to bring. If you're not a crafter, bring a book or just yourselves!

Ice Cream!!! We will have ice cream from Melt available to purchase! Melt is queer owned and are awkward moaning worthy level of tasty. Vegan and dairy options available.
